Paris, [1894]. Collection Hetzel (Imprimerie Gauthier-Villars).[4] + 420 p. + 12 t. (ebből 6 színes) + 2 térkép. Első kiadás.
Oldalszámozáson belüli címképpel, díszcímlappal, valamint 64 szövegközi, rendkívül részletgazdag illusztrációval díszített kalandregény, az illusztrációkat a Hetzel kiadóház állandó illusztrátora, George Roux készítette. Jules Verne sorozatát a Francia Akadémia kitüntetésben részesítette. Példányunk kötése a francia Bellevallée műhelyben készült. A könyvkötő műhely álbordázott, dúsan aranyozott gerincű, egészmaroquin kötéssel látott el francia klasszikusokat (La Fontaine-t, Stendhalt) a XX. század első felében.

Korabeli, díszesen aranyozott, álbordázott, szignált, bordó egészmaroquin kötésben (Bellevallée), aranyozott lapszélekkel. Dekoratív, gyönyörű példány.
